A few years ago, my mother in law and I were having a discussion about what natural disaster was the most deadly. I thought earthquakes would be pretty horrible whereas she thought tornadoes were much worse. Interestingly enough, I grew up where there were tornadoes and she grew up with earthquakes. At the time, we both lived in Arizona. Imagine the humor we discovered when we learned what the true most dangerous natural disaster was?

I would take earthquakes over tornadoes any day. Granted, your mother-in-law and I were neighbors. I guess that could explain why we'd both prefer earthquakes. :)
