We did it!!! I am SO excited to report that Taryn is weaned off a bottle!!!
She has been using a bottle since we started her on formula in October/November. Great, except she refused to take her milk in anything but a bottle. She would drink from her sippy cup if it was water, but not milk. (when I say milk, she is STILL on her soy formula) I eventually had the idea that maybe if I got her a different type of sippy that was more like her bottle, she'd use it.
It took giving it to her a half dozen times, but she finally finished 6 oz. Since then, she's drained that thing a few more times and takes it willingly. I'm SO glad!!! I could tell it was going to work when she was holding her sippy the same as she holds her bottle, from the bottom. Way to go Taryn!
