Tricycle

WANTED: A tricycle for Keara

The problem is, I can't find one for a good price. I've been searching garage sales and, though I've found a STEAL on other items, I can't find a tricycle.

So, if you love garage saleing and you live in this area and in the next 2 weeks you happen to find a tricycle that would fit a 3 year old and it's cheap, call me! I just might BEG you to pick it up for us and I'll buy it!

It's getting to be a little ridiculous watching her ride on a baby scooter where her legs come up to her armpits...

Trikes--absolutely amazing! Carter got one for Christmas (remember it's snowy here) and he ROCKS at it (remember, it's still snowy and cold here)...and actually, he's almost too big for it now...He now is totally rockin' on his training wheel bike...If you get a trike, try to get one that is more her sitting on top of the wheels vs. big wheel style...like the purple trike we had, or the trike that Ivy is riding in her video...it will last longer...but the other style is good, too, b/c they can ride it SOONER (as their legs/motor skills develop) so a good investment for T.

I found Makenzie's lightly used pink tricycle at a local thrift store for $3. It's also the law here the kids riding bikes (at parks and etc.) are supposed to wear helmets. Those are also expensive, even at Wal-Mart. I found Kenzie a Disney Princess helmet also at the thrift store for $1.50. So you might want to check thrift stores, too.
