I wanted to make a mei tai carrier for our new baby, so I got online and found a few ideas of how to make it. I had made Braden a soccer net frame bag out of canvas which really inspired me. I love canvas! So I got fabric and started experimenting. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks to Jill and Paisley for modeling for me! It wasn't so easy to wear preggo...

If anyone wants one (or this one)...

I look like a hunchback! But the carrier is fabulous!
Very cute and creative. Looks like you got the sewing bug, too. I've been doing a few projects of my own… still working on projects because the only time I have to work on them are when the kids are asleep at the same time.
very cute. Now I just need a baby to go in it!
Very cute! I'm impressed.
I want one! I just found one of those really cute nursing covers for a really good deal and this was the next thing on my list. I love how Ruth's turned out and I am pretty sure Phoebe made it for her. Let me know!
Cheri, it IS really cute! Way to go with the design! Super impressed..."Super Cute"
Well done! It looks beautiful. I think I might just be the mom who ends up with a bunch of wraps and slings just because i like them. I had never seen the mai tai before but now I'm thinking I might just want to have one too. Are you going to end up selling them?
Very cute!
