Just Call Me Bessie

Holy cow! Well, not the holy part. But I am amazed at how abundant my milk supply is this time around. I look in my freezer and wonder if we'll be able to use up all that milk before this baby is weaned. I've never been able to pump this much before. Unfortunately, that means I've run out of storage bags and each nursing session takes a long time since I have to pump afterwards. And all I have is my manual pump, which takes extra time. I got to use the "cadillac" of electric pumps at the hospital and WOW it was awesome! Anyway, as my grandpa once told my sister, there's not much difference between me and that ol' heifer at this point...

If you're pumping after every feeding it might be worth it to rent a pump. I rented one from the hospital after Kyler was born, it saves time plus you usually get more with a hospital-grade pump (not like you need it though). Just something to think about, might be worth the time you'll save especially since you have other little ones to take care of.

I bought a double electric off of craigslist after renting one from the hospital for a couple weeks because my milk supply is outrageous. It was actually cheaper to buy one for me than keep renting. Plus if you have more kids it's great investment!
