Re-Purposing Old Clothes

I had a bag of clothes that I was going to give away. I was looking around on Make It and Love It and saw how she used a skirt and a shirt to make a dress. So I decided to try it out.

I think it turned out pretty good. A little homemade looking, but at least we have a dress that fits.

So I thought I'd try to make a sweater dress from one of my old favorite sweaters. But the neck was too low, so it ended up a shirt dress as well.

These pictures crack me up. Apparently, Taryn needs some serious help learning to keep her eyes open...

Keara looks terrible in this picture, but at least you see the whole dress. I've since added a ribbon tie, but I'm going to take it off and try something else.
