It's days like today that make me wonder why I'm a mom. Why I'm allowed to be a mom. I mean, seriously, could I screw it up any more than I did today?
And then it's nights like tonight that make me remember that there's a bigger picture here and THANK GOODNESS we have a Father in Heaven who is patient, loving, and forgiving, and gives us another day to try again.

I hear you :)
I mentioned to someone those same words one time, and even said my kids are perfect, but I'm afraid I'm going to ruin them. She told me that's impossible, that's why we have an atonement. It covers all our mistakes. I'm so grateful for that!
Amen sister! Man, sleep fixes a lot. And some days just need to be thrown in the trash. You are amazing, even when you don't think so. Sometimes it's hard to fathom that God knows what is going on. But somehow, He does and it makes all the difference. :)
Oh Cheri - I don't believe it! I always looked up to you in NZ because you seemed like you knew exactly what to do and how to do it! I loved listening to you teach our Family Proclamation class - you just knew what you were doing. You are amazing! I always admired your confidence and direction! I'm sure whatever went on wasn't as bad as you feel it was and more just a learning day for you and an opportunity for you to teach your children about love, forgiveness, and family. Cheer up! ~Sarah
