Keara is really into knowing people's names right now. She asks us about a dozen times a day "What's your name?" So, now she knows my name is Cheri and daddy's name is Braden. When we tell her her name and Taryn's name, we use their full names: Keara Elaine Moore and Taryn Noelle Moore.
When I am trying to get Keara's attention, I often use her first and middle name. "Keara Elaine, please don't dump water on your sister's head!" "Keara Elaine, I just LOVE it when you see what needs to be done and do it without being asked!" You get the picture.
Well, I learned pretty quick that I do that too much when the other night we were in the Walmart parking lot and I started singing a song. Keara yells from the back seat, "Mommy Elaine, stop singing that!"
