Food, Glorious Food!

Because of Taryn's last allergist appointment when they told me to take her off EVERYTHING, the poor child has been starving. We've tried to fill her up on rice, potatoes, meats, veggies, and fruits, but she gets so jealous of our meals. She's resorted to eating dirt and chalk again.

But after this last appointment, when we found out she's not allergic to milk and wheat, we celebrated with real food! This child is thrilled! First, she had eggless pancakes and thought they were manna from heaven. Now we just need to teach her what manna really was... Then, for dinner, she got to have the delicious sloppy joes (written about further down) and LOVED them. Manna-shmanna. This was ambrosia. She had 2 full helpings and would have continued, I'm sure. For lunch today, she got a bit of the pizza roll (also written about futher down). This whole eggless deal is wonderful. It's fun and totally easy, so far. Now I'm just looking for a recipe for eggless pasta so she can eat all of our italian meals.

Cheri, you can make rice noodles or buy the Japanese wheat needles. I don't believe they have egg.
